Registration Process and Timeline:
Step 1:  Register your player(s) at US Lacrosse and record the membership number (Fee is $30)  https://www.uslacrosse.org/  *Required for insurance purposes
Step 2:  Register your player(s) at the Hartford Parks & Recreation Department online www.hartfordrec.com or in-person at Town Hall. 
Fee is $65 for Residents, $80 for Non-Residents

Step 3:  Mandatory Virtual Parent Meeting on 4/18/21 -  Zoom link will be provided via email

*Town of Hartford resident registration begins on:  3/4/21
                  
*Non-resident (of Vermont) registration begins on:  3/15/21 *Please note HYLC reserves the right to limit our program to Hartford residents only, based on COVID guidelines and restrictions.
*Registration closes on:  4/2/21
*Participation will not be allowed until player is fully registered.
 
All Players: Must provide their own equipment
Boys:  FACE MASK, helmet, stick, gloves, shoulder pads, protective cup, rib protector(optional), mouthguard, and cleats
Girls:  FACE MASK, goggles, stick, mouth guard, and cleats

Please check your emails frequently as we expect ongoing changes to guidelines and schedules due to COVID.
 
COVID GUIDELINES:       
There will be no regularly scheduled indoor practices this year.  Teams “may” start outside practices earlier, but that will be on a team-by-team basis. 




  1. Temperatures will be taken and recorded before each practice.


  2. If a player has not attended school (on their scheduled day) or are quarantining they may not attend practice.




 
Practice/Game Schedules:
All teams will be notified in late March of their practice schedules, and game schedules will be sent out when finalized.  Some teams may begin practicing before others based on field availability.  We know this is challenging for planning purposes, but we just don’t have enough information yet.  If for some reason we are unable to have a season, you will be issued a full refund.
